         Community
Our vision is to make Middletown Presbyterian Church the center of
our community’s activities and to reach out to the surrounding area by
presenting our church’s many blessings and opportunities, inviting all
to join us as we celebrate God’s love and grace; and to let everyone
know, members and visitors, that they are welcome.

         Transportation to Worship Services
Provide shuttle vans that pick-up and drop-off on Sundays at the
         retirement communities.

Sticks and Strings - 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7:30.
Sticks and Strings includes many kinds of crafting-both personal
and charitable. Join us for instruction, cheerful encouragement
and good fellowship. For more information contact Linda Fox
         at 610-574-0936.

Aid for Friends – This is a great opportunity for volunteers to prepare
meals for the elderly and shut-ins in our area. Pre-cooked meals are
dropped off at the church and volunteers repackage the meals into
individual containers. Food and “hands” are always welcomed!
Contact Carol Curtis or the church office.

Upward Basketball / Upward Cheerleading - the world’s largest
Christian sports program for children, was created with a vision to
provide the best sports experience possible for every child.  We
welcome volunteers to participate as coaches, referees, time keepers,
or just be a fan in the bleachers! Anyone – children and volunteers of
any faith or no faith – can participate in Upward Sports.  Upward
Sports aim to bring out “the winner” in every child – regardless of the
game’s score. Contact Jinny Heilala, Don Heilala or Chriss Benson
          at 610-909-6216.

City Team - Youth and adults alike from MPC visit City Team in Chester
on several different occasions during the year. City Team Ministries
helps our region in many different ways. One of the ways we help is to
deliver meals and gifts during the three major holidays to people less
fortunate than ourselves. Some of us have gone down to sort food
items and serve Thanksgiving dinner to homeless souls. We also
participate in their annual carnival to make sure less fortunate school
students receive backpacks full of school supplies, while having some
fun in the process. There are other ways we assist City Team, since
they do so much for others. Contact Ken Schreffler or the church office.

5-Day Clubs meets during the summer. Contact Chriss Benson
         at 610-909-6216 for more information.

Kidz Club –Kids are welcome to join us for a special time of learning
about Jesus in a fun way. We meet at Indian Lane Elementary School
from 3:25 – 4:45 pm on Thursdays. Contact Chriss Benson at 610-909-6216.
